Every December, NASA hosts its annual event - the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The race grows in popularity every year, making it an international affair. I've run this race a half dozen times or so - finally winning it a few years ago. That said, it wasn't exactly high on my priority list to run it again. But my good friend Dave Brown called with an offer I couldn't refuse - a chance to drive the Factory Five GTM Prototype that I had seen all season in the US Touring Car Championship. The car would run for the overall win in the fastest class on the track. I just couldn't say no. There was an immediate bond between the drivers and the crew, and the owners (Richard and Yvonne Migliori) provided a down-home feel that made you not care about the cold and the rain. In the end, we brought a podium finish to the team. I can not WAIT to drive that car again!!
